Hurry Timer is built with a "Privacy First" approach. The App is a functional tool designed to display countdown timers on Shopify storefronts. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, your customers' data, or your store’s financial information to any external servers controlled by us.
Hurry Timer is developed and maintained by an individual developer and is operated in line with Shopify’s privacy requirements for apps
To operate within your Shopify store, the App requires a small set of technical permissions. These permissions are used solely to provide the countdown timer functionality:
Files (Read/Write):Used only to store and display visual assets related to the timer, such as thebackground image of the countdown timer on your storefront. The App doesn’t use this permission to access or process any customer or order information.
Metaobjects:Used to store the essential configuration data for the countdown timer (for example: timer start/end time, text content, and basic style options), so that the timer can be displayed correctly on your storefront using Shopify’s native infrastructure.
The App requests only the minimum permissions needed to provide its features and doesn’t use these permissions for any unrelated purposes such as tracking, profiling, or advertising.
Hurry Timer is intentionally designed to avoid collecting personal or financial data.
Personal Data
The App doesn’t collect or store customer email addresses, names, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers.
Financial Data
The App doesn’t access or store order details, payment information, currency data, or sales revenue.
We do not use third-party analytics, tracking pixels, cookies, or external reporting tools within the App.
Through Shopify’s APIs, Hurry Timer accesses only the technical information required for the App to function:
The App does not use Shopify’s APIs to read or store customer personal information, order history, or payment details.
Outside of Shopify’s standard installation and authorization process, the App doesn’t directly collect additional information from merchants or from their customers. There are no separate in-app registration forms, tracking scripts, or behavior analytics implemented.
If you contact us by email for support, we’ll use the information that you choose to provide (for example, your email address and any details in your message) only for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. We don’t sell or share this information with third parties.
Hurry Timer stores timer configuration data and related visual assets inside your Shopify store (for example, as theme files and metaobjects). We don’t maintain a separate external database of your store’s settings, your customers, or your orders.
When you uninstall the App, Shopify will revoke the App’s access to your store. You can manually delete any remaining timer-related assets or metaobjects from your Shopify admin if you wish to remove all configuration data associated with the App.
Because the App doesn’t create a separate external database of personal data, there’s no independent personal data store for us to delete. If you have any concerns about data associated with the App, you can:
Merchants can handle customer data access and deletion requests directly within Shopify using Shopify’s native tools. Since Hurry Timer doesn’t independently store customer-identifiable information, there’s typically no additional deletion action required by the App.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the App’s functionality or in applicable requirements. When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised. Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
